Come join the Naveego team!  Naveego, Inc. is Traverse City, MI based software technology company that creates value for business by helping our customers manage their most important data.  The Naveego software solution is a hybrid and multi-cloud data accuracy platform that produces analytics ready information from multiple disparate data sources and data lakes, and keeps information consistent across an enterprise.  As a start-up company in the field of master data management and data quality, we have a tremendous opportunity to make data usable and accessible for business decision-makers by providing a platform to repair and manage information operating across all business systems within a company.  

The Product Manager is a product owner, managing product UAT, interfacing with the software development team for sprint planning and backlog grooming, and forward facing to customers gathering feature requests, customer feedback and managing customer service.  The Product Manager prepares marketing collateral using technical communication writing skills to create release notes, white papers on solutions, use cases and other materials for the website and for pre-sales.  The broad scope of this position requires strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and technical knowledge of the Naveego product offering. This person works closely with the CEO, CTO and VP of Sales to help shape and communicate Naveego product offerings.

While Naveego is in the startup phase and has a smaller staff, some non-conventional role assignment will be necessary.

Key Tasks and Duties:

  • Own the product
  • Manage product UAT
  • Manage SCRUM team development sprints
  • Gather customer feedback and feature requests
  • Assist CTO with backlog grooming and prioritizing development
  • Triage and manage resolution of customer service tickets in accordance with SLA
  • Work with partners to integrate Naveego product offerings into partner product offerings
  • Prepare written and multimedia marketing collateral on technology including website content, white papers, release notes
  • Communicate new product features to the sales team and to customers in presentations

Non-Conventional Assignments:

  • Add content updates to website
  • Develop customer use cases for product
  • Assist with design and scope of new customer installation projects

Required Experience:

  • Five (5) years of experience in software product management
  • Successful track record of assessing, critical thinking, problem solving, and embedding process optimizations into an organization
  • Experience with enterprise customers
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS, B2B, data management, cloud-first solutions - experience with master data management, data quality a plus
  • Experience in start-up culture a plus

 

Travel:

This position will not typically require travel.  However, infrequent travel will typically be outside the local area and overnight.  Some travel may be international.
