Come join the Naveego team!  Naveego, Inc. is Traverse City based software technology company that creates value for business by helping our customers repair and manage their most important business information.  The Naveego platform is a data accuracy and master data management cloud first platform.  As a young company in the field of MDM and data accuracy, we have a tremendous opportunity to make data usable and accessible for business decision-makers by providing a platform to repair and manage information operating across all business systems within a company from a consolidated central portal.  

The Sales Director is a remotely located independent contracting position.

Key Tasks and Duties

  • Sell Naveego products in a hybrid model to both end users in the F2000 and partners
  • Consistently achieve sales quotas
  • Maintain customer focus
  • Translate technical advantages to customer top line and bottom line results
  • Generating your own leads through prospecting and existing contacts with 5-8 face to face meetings per week
  • Present to key decision makers successfully
  • Manage 10-20 opportunities concurrently with an organized approach
  • Provide weekly reports to VP Sales
  • Travel for sales and marketing pitches and events
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Skills / Experience

  • 5+ years consistently achieving quota in new accounts
  • Customer focused with the ability to translate technical advantages to customer top line and bottom line results
  • Ability to sell in a hybrid model to both end users in the F2000 and partners
  • Proven success working remotely
  • Ability to understand Master Data Management, experience a plus
  • Self-starter and capable of generating your own leads through prospecting and existing contacts with 5-8 face to face meetings per week
  • Ability to present to key decision makers successfully
  • Managing 10-20 opportunities concurrently with an organized approach
  • Has well developed technical sales network for lead generation and ability to convert personal network into sales for Naveego
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in an early stage startup with tangible results from past successes
  • Ability to rapidly build a pipeline of new business in the short-term
  • Capable of creative problem solving approach
  • Passion for a career in business development, sales, and marketing of technology
  • Is motivated, self-driven, and resourceful 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to take on new tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • A team player that practices integrity
  • Office 365 and Salesforce CRM competency
  • Knowledge of technology, software, data management, web-based services (SAAS), B2B industry

Travel

This position requires frequent travel.  Some of the travel may be international.
